Penitentiary Made Ink magazine was the creation of a hobby turned into an idea. Talent is evenly distributed throughout the world in all places and locations. Yet, the opportunities to express those talents are not. There are so many individuals with talent who go unnoticed. This magazine was created to give those artist a chance to be recognized!
Who We Are

Our magazine was created to allow individuals who can transform ideas into works of art, a chance to express it to the public as well as others like themselves. This is especially true with the art that is submitted from individuals who are incarcerated. These individuals make up 85 % of the material published in our magazine.
